Over
Mireille Moust, zangeres, tekstdichter, beeldend kunstenaar en samen met Eddy Moust (1955-2022) vormde zij een componistenduo.
In 2025 bracht Mireille Love Is a Painter van Mireille & Eddy Moust uit met haar record label Travel Light Theatre. Het album ontving drie Global Music Awards, Silver Outstanding Achievement: categories: Songwriter/lyrics, Duo and Composer.
Mireille werkt samen met gitaristen uit verschillende culturele achtergronden (Indiaas, Zuid-Amerikaans en Nederlands). Deze muzikale ontmoetingen geven haar en Love Is a Painter nieuwe vleugels om mee te reizen.
Sinds 2025 werkt Mireille samen met Àlvaro Rovira Ruiz. Gitarist, componist, dirigent, docent, begeleider.
Álvaro studeert aan de Escuela de Música Contemporánea in Buenos Aires. Hier is de basis gelegd voor zijn brede interesse: tango, Braziliaanse choro en Latijns-Amerikaanse folklore en andere genres die het leven onderzoeken, beschrijven en vieren. In 2010 studeert hij in Latin Jazz af aan het Conservatorium van Rotterdam, waar hij nu zelf docent ‘Braziliaanse en Argentijnse tangogitaar’ is. En geeft hij les aan de Braziliaanse muziekschool EPM Holanda.

Mireille Moust, singer, lyricist, and visual artist, together with Eddy Moust (1955-2022), formed a composer duo. Mireille released Love Is a Painter by Mireille & Eddy Moust with her label Travel Light Theatre. The album received three Global Music Awards for songwriting/lyrics, duo, and composition. Mireille Moust collaborates with guitarists from various cultural backgrounds (Indian, South American, and Dutch). These musical encounters give her, and Love Is a Painter, new wings to travel with.
Since 2025, Mireille has been working with Àlvaro Rovira Ruiz. Guitarist, composer, conductor, teacher, accompanist.
Álvaro studied at the Escuela de Música Contemporánea in Buenos Aires. Here, the foundation was laid for his broad interests: tango, Brazilian choro, Latin American folklore, and other genres that explore, describe, and celebrate life. In 2010, he graduated in Latin Jazz from the Rotterdam Conservatory, where he is now a teacher of Brazilian and Argentine tango guitar. And he teaches at the Brazilian music school EPM Holanda.
